Time: 11am - 5pm (1 hour for lunch)
Location: Caledon, ON (approx. 1 hour drive from Toronto. Exact location will be sent following registration)

Singing “away from the party” is a blessing for the human body.

Please join Fides for a 1-Day Country Retreat that will move between indoor and outdoor work (weather permitting) as a way to explore vocal freedom and connection.

The work is physical: full-body solo, duo, and group exercises. EIV ‘round the piano’ time, easy improvisational frames, and acoustic nature tasks make this day an exceptional opportunity for vocal growth and internal resettling. If there is time, a song that I teach will be included. 

Each Day Away coincides with one of my teacher training cohorts. These trainees will participate as students bringing a depth of focus and care to EIV’s gentle rigour. The full group will be around 16 students for each Day Away. 

You are welcome to take a walk in the woods if you arrive early or before leaving. There is a pond that you can hop in for a swim!

If you are interested in sharing rides/splitting fuel costs, please answer the questions when prompted during registration, and we will place your name and contact info in a shared google doc to assist with coordinating transportation.
